Service Description
The Agricultural Program will prepare the student to provide excellent landscape services to consumers in commercial, residential, and private properties while simultaneously learning the aspects of horticulture and the horticulture business. Students will learn how to build, lay concrete, and install hardscape materials including pavers. Students will also learn how to understand and construct watering systems; plant, transplant, prune, fertilize, nurse seedlings, and manage greenhouses. Students will reap the benefit of working in a variety of settings such as community gardens, commercial and residential properties, grow stations, private farms, public agencies, and more. After successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible to sit for the Certified Professional Horticulturist Certification Exam. *If student is in the Registered Apprenticeship Program, student will receive an additional National Certification through the United States Department of Labor.
