Service Description
Program Description: The EMT program will provide training in responding to 911 calls for emergency medical assistance. Students will learn to assess a patient's condition and determine a course of treatment, provide first-aid treatment, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), life support care, bandaging a wound, and proper transportation techniques to safely transport a patient in an ambulance to the emergency department or other healthcare facility. After successful completion of the program, the student will be eligible to sit for the Emergency Medical Technician Certification through the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT). *If student is in the Registered Apprenticeship Program, student will receive an additional National Certification through the United States Department of Labor. • Program Length: 12-14 weeks • High School Diploma Required: yes • Program Cost: Uniform: $180.00 Books: $35.00 Test Fees: $92.00 Additional Fees: $180.00 Tuition: $1.548.00 Total Cost: $2,035.00
